Stephanye 'Jewel' Di Fabio
has worked in the beauty and fashion industry
since 1996. She began as a Nail Technician and
later trained to become a Cosmetologist at Carsten’s
Institute of Hair Design; Tempe, Arizona. Graduated
and newly licensed by 1998, her goal and focus
has always been to utilize all training available
to become a professional freelance artist.
Through the years, Jewel
committed herself to achieving her dream of becoming
a professional freelance hair artist
for photography and multi-media. She worked side
by side with some the valley's leading photographers
so to learn the skills needed to become an excellent
photographic hair designer. Her
skills are utilized regularly for photographers
on magazine photo shoots and model portfolios.
Her dream of becoming
a commercial artist became her reality in 2003
with the Arizona Cardinal's Cheerleaders 2004
Swimsuit Calendar. Jewel's commercial styling
and celebrity accomplishments have been published
on the covers and within various magazines such
as Post, Star, Us Weekly, In Touch, and Beauty
Launchpad. This new demand in freelance assignments
allowed Jewel to take a her dream and make it
a reality by creating ArtisticFreelance.com in
2005.
Make
Up Artist
During these increasing
accomplishments, Jewel began taking an added interest
in cosmetic applications. While working on assignments,
she followed closely with professional
make-up artists, taking a special focus
on bridal and fantasy make-up. She later became
a freelance makeup artist for
MAC Cosmetics in Arizona. After
a year of developing skills taught by MAC, Jewel
Launched her makeup skills at the Noise
Night Club Fashion Runway Show in 2004.
Desiring to take her skills
and knowledge even further, Jewel began looking
for a company to become exclusive and represent.
TIGI Bed Head Cosmetics began
utilizing Jewel’s skills and knowledge in
2005 as a Cosmetic Educator to
salons and retailers state wide. Although Jewel
finds more comfort working behind the scenes,
she has been seen educating and creating beautiful
looks on main stages of national industry trade
shows such as Long Beach, California and Las Vegas..

Hair Care Products for all her freelance
hair assignments. MAC Cosmetics
for her cosmetic applications.
She is extremely versatile in her surroundings,
works well under pressure, and is willing to work
under any conditions that may come as a challenge
to her. Her commitment to her clients show not
only in her work but also in her professionalism.
